The Alliance League
Star Player |
After their undefeated run through Division
3 it is no surprise that this seasons Alliance League
Star Player award goes to a member of 'the Faceless Consortium'.
But firstly two honorable mentions.... Alien8
who continues to be a points machine for the Punishers
at the highest level and GuiltyCol who
has lead tFC from the front. However this seasons Alliance
League Star Player is...... Matrix! Undefeated
in the league this season and sitting at the top of both
averages makes him the deserving recipient of this seasons
award.

The
'Psycho' Award |
 |
The 'Psycho' award is an attempt to recognise
those Alliance players who are dedicated to mayhem. Those
who treat the lives of their own men with as little respect
as they do their opponents. To this end the award goes
to the player who has racked up more kills over the season
than any other player. It doesn't matter whether its their
own men, their opponents, or even innocent spectators,
all that matters is the body count. Honourable mentions
have to go to Alien8, privatejoker
and Jonlans Chicken. However
the clear winner in this category is Zombra
who in 10 games counted for a total of 331 points. Impressive.

The Florence Nightingale
Award (aka the 'Guardian Angel' Award) |
The complete opposite of the 'Psycho' award,
the 'Guardian Angel' award is for those players who value
the lives of their loyal men almost as highly as their
own. These are the players who never deploy less than
a full medical hospital, and have been known to pass out
at the first sign of blood. This season the award has
once again been hotly contested but from the mayhem has
emerged a clear winner.... Matrix
who in 8 games only suffered 30 points worth of casualties.
|
| The 'Lockout' Award |
 |
Lockouts, we all know how tough it is to
prevent your opponent scoring a single point in a game.
This award is for those masters of the game who have turned
defense into an art form. Once again this season lockouts
have proved illusive with no player managing more than
a single lockout. So for this season the awards panel
have decided to with hold the award.

 |
The 'Atlas' Award |
An award for the real ironmen of the Alliance
league. For those players who have for whatever reason
had to carry their clan through the season. This season
the award is again to be shared. From the wreckage that
is division 3 emerge Disaster Area who
accounted for 44% of the 8 Bits positive points and Lex
who accounted for 46 % of clan AfterShock's positive points.
|
| The 'Annihilator' Award |
 |
Every point counts in Alliance games and
the 'Annihilator' award recognises those players who show
their opponents no mercy. Those players who have racked
up more of those magic 20 point score lines than any others.
This season we have a single standout player, however
honorable mentions firstly to SternerThanRegnix,
Vasco and nico who each
racked up an impressive seven games in this category.
However with an impressive 9 'annihilations' we have a
clear winner in..... Alien8.

The 'Thriller' Award |
The ‘Thriller’ award is a new
award for season 3 that seeks to highlight those players
who put entertainment over glory. Those players who game
after game are involved in those matches that are just
too tight to call right until the end. So this award goes
to the player who has been involved in more games than
anyone else that have been decided by a single point.
This season we have a runaway winner in joergensen
who incredibly was involved in 5 games that were decided
by a single point.
